Abstract

The integration of interns is a crucial step in the adaptation and development of future professionals, requiring organizations to implement strategies that facilitate learning, reduce anxiety, and foster a sense of belonging. In this context, this reflective article analyzes the role of internal communication in onboarding and organizational socialization processes, highlighting its influence on clarifying expectations, building psychological safety, and strengthening the bonds between the employee and the organization. Based on a review of the literature, the article discusses the contributions of two-way feedback, psychological safety, and structured onboarding practices to the successful integration of interns. It also reflects on the challenges associated with infoxication and the expectations of Generation Z. Internal communication is an essential strategic resource for promoting positive onboarding experiences, simultaneously contributing to employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.
