Abstract

This article examines the role of empathic communication in leadership and its impact on team motivation and productivity within organizational contexts. The study addresses persistent workplace challenges such as poor communication, low motivation, lack of trust, and reduced psychological safety, which often result from ineffective leadership practices. Its main objective is to understand how leaders can use empathic communication to strengthen professional relationships and improve team performance. The article explores key dimensions of empathic leadership, including active listening, emotional recognition, constructive feedback, trust-building, and psychological safety. It also analyses how these practices contribute to greater collaboration, improved interpersonal dynamics, reduced conflict, and higher levels of employee engagement and productivity.
