The evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the education sector, leading to the alteration of traditional ways of transmitting knowledge. This article critically analyzes the role of AI as a driver of pedagogical differentiation and ecosystem optimization, exploring the personalization of learning through adaptive and intelligent tutoring systems, the automation of pedagogical tasks, and the reconfiguration of the teacher’s role. It is argued that these tools do not replace the teacher, but boost their performance as a facilitator, allowing a more empathetic, humane approach focused on the student's needs. The study concludes that the effectiveness of this transition requires ethical frameworks and continuous training to safeguard the autonomy and privacy of the student, preventing them from new forms of digital exclusion.
