Wearing the Shirt - Employees' Sense of Belonging

Abstract

When we talk about employees' sense of being involved, we talk about ethics and respect for others. The first step to developing a motivated team is for leaders to be aware that these are people who are performing tasks for the organization, not machines. Therefore, if we want our company to be successful against its competitors, we must invest in fair working conditions, creating satisfied employees who are enthusiastic about our brand. There's nobody better than the employee who "wears the shirt" to spread a positive reputation about our products or services. 

This opinion article will analyze some scientific journals and academic works, and an explanation of my experience as a motivated employee in an organization.
