With global warming becoming an increasingly critical phenomenon in the world and consequently being one of the most talked-about issues worldwide, more and more companies are trying to label themselves as "green" and show solidarity with their consumers in this cause. Hence the term "Greenwashing" emerges, which is nothing more than the tireless demonstrations through marketing, by companies, to their consumers of a sustainable and environmentally friendly image, but which in practice, most of the time, does not apply. These deceptive practices can harm the environment as they delay and divert the attention of those who are truly interested in taking action and changing something, focusing them on false initiatives, products, or services. It is important for companies to commit to sustainability in a sincere way, adopting good environmental practices and communicating them in a transparent and constant manner so that they reach all audiences. The environment and people will benefit, but the companies that do it for real will also benefit.
