The importance of communication in combating gender inequality in basketball

Abstract

In the current situation in which we live, gender inequality is unfortunately a recurring theme, and as such, this article intends to address it in a serious and transparent manner.

As such, the theme to be addressed is inequality in basketball. In fact, we are still very much stuck to several prejudices such as "women not being as capable as men in sports".

By collecting data and using practical examples, we intend to demonstrate this reality that is felt by athletes, former athletes, coaches, judges, managers, and trainers.

As a way to combat this problem, social networks are presented as the best solution, and in the article we will be able to understand why.

Finally, it should be noted that just as sport is constantly changing and evolving, so should our mentality.
