Social Media: the new customs police

Political correctness is thoughtful behavior aimed at protecting marginalized groups. A way of replacing possibly offensive expressions with less negative words.
Today political correctness is still seen as a form of control of our freedom of speech. Some claim that this movement is a form of censorship. Therefore, when some do not follow these standards of society to be politically correct, they are "cancelled "by society, namely social media. The cancellation comes as a consequence of taking a controversial position.
Companies can also be targets of this cancellation, taking positions on activist topics risks their reputation. But who decides what’s wrong and what’s right?
