Abstract

Communication is one of the most powerful tools that can be used to influence and shape public opinion. Advertising, in particular, plays a significant role in the way companies and brands communicate with their respective target audience. In the last few years, diversity, inclusion, and equality have been increasingly debated and advertising is no exception. Now that we are aware of the influence media and advertising have on society, in the present article we will explore the way these themes have been explored in brand communication and advertising.
