From From politically correct to anti-politically correct

Abstract

At the current conjuncture, there is a greater sensitivity about what is communicated. In this sense, it is important to explore why there is this growing concern with political correctness and how it affects communication. From a social perspective, one should consider the evolution of what political correctness is, and the differences that have made themselves felt until today, and what the trends will be for the future, considering various factors such as the digital world, namely social networks and the circulation of information. In turn, from a professional perspective, we add to the equation the new way of communicating and how communicators, from the media to the business world, will have to assume the new guidelines indirectly imposed by society.
