Abstract

The present article analyzes the effect of the cost, the largeness and the complexity that the public sector reached with the development of the welfare State and that it took the one that a set of industrialized countries proceeded to the accomplishment of changes, more or less radical, in the structures and the functions of the State and, in particular, the Public Administration, especially for the adoption of new ideas of management, deriving of the private sector, paradigm known in literature with the assignment of New Public Management.
