This presentation examines how alumni support influences the career decision‑making of students in ProFIS, UNICAMP’s interdisciplinary inclusion program for underrepresented groups. It outlines the university’s investment in student permanency, the structure of the ProFIS curriculum, and the central role of the mandatory “Careers” course grounded in self‑awareness, decision‑making, and career planning. Alumni participate through roundtables, sharing experiences, challenges, and professional pathways, offering mentorship and networking opportunities. Outcomes show that alumni involvement strengthens students’ sense of belonging, supports informed degree selection, fosters confidence, and enhances diversity and inclusion initiatives.
