This study analyzes how Erasmus mobility affects the careers and engagement of alumni from Miguel Hernández University (UMH). Using data from 3,273 alumni and 1,642 updated profiles, it compares Erasmus participants with non‑participants. Results show that Erasmus alumni are more likely to live or have lived abroad, speak multiple foreign languages, reach higher professional categories, work in larger organizations, complete additional degrees, and join the UMH alumni network at higher rates. The study concludes that international experiences constitute a strategic investment that benefits both students and the university by enhancing competitiveness and alumni engagement.
